Steph’s crash out about ai prompts at the end is probably the funniest thing I’ve heard all week. Fully justified, but still hilarious.

Seeing that the first videogame topic starts at half an hour in tells me this is gonna be a great episode

Making AI art is still a creative process. It depends on how much control and features your image generator has, and how far you can push it. You can use it to fix an work on a bad image until it looks good.

Much agreed, I feel like Laura has increasingly become more entrenched in defending Nintendo since the Switch 2 has released. It’s weird to see someone who has criticised gross practices in the past now defending them because they are under a different umbrella.

Conrad is dead wrong here, it’s not ”unfair” at all for Nintendo to get criticized for this, they’re actually doing these things worse then other companies. Yes there have been examples of DLC you could pre-order for other games before, but Legends ZA specifically was so glaring because in this case the DLC was so obviously stuff that was just cut from the main game to be sold back to you for an eye-watering 30 bucks, that’s just beyond shameful so Nintendo deserves every bit of criticism they get as far as i’m concerned.

Vectorman, Ecco the Dolphin and Earthworm Jim are all good games. I still enjoy the EJ cartoon in spite of Doug being a dickhead, helps that he wasn’t really involved in it at all really.
