Another game that came out late in the year but that’s a great game to catch up on as a 16-bit throwback: Kingdoms of the Dump.

It has an amazing amount of ’kindness potential’, and it does something really interesting whereby as the game goes on the horrors become mundane and normalised and you realise that most of the monsters are still, fundamentally, just people trying to get by. Genuinely brilliant.

Nice to hear Look Outside get mentioned, it was my personal GotY even before the most recent update that added a ton of content. It can also be oddly heartwarming as the game goes on.
