Dead Island sort of got a remaster when it got re-released in 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One on the ”Dead Island: Definitive Collection” which collects the first game and Riptide along with all the DLC.

Zombi U would be the game Steph didn’t want to mention, I played the regular re-release without motion controls and thought it was solid. I enjoy Dead Island well enough.

Isolation had the same issues of having natural stopping points only for some contrived nonsense to keep the game going.
